One of the first things I thought before making this transition was "how am I going to make brownies?! Oh well...". I truly believed that this wonderful lifestyle meant giving up my desserts, but at the time, I just did not know anything about alternatives. And I can honestly say that I still have my brownies, and literally everything else that I used to but without harming myself, the animals or the earth. Pretty neat, don't you think? So many grocery stores have vegan options and don't forget to use your resources! Pinterest, for example, is a great tool to research different swap options.
And remember, just because it's vegan, does not make it healthy! There are still calories, ice cream still has sugar, and there's still fat. Be moderate when you indulge ;).
