One of the most important factors about staying on your path to wellness is shopping well and maintaining your focus when in the grocery store. I tend to get distracted really easily, trust me. But in addition, you also have to worry about making sure you’ve written down all your ingredients and that you don’t miss anything, especially the items you buy on a regular weekly basis.
For almost two years, I have used a free and simplistic shopping list app (that’s the actual name) that allows me to:
-Have the all items I need in one place
-Organize my lists into groups if I need to (see pic 2). For example, your groups can be “birthday party”, “lunch items”, “weekend meals”
-I can cross out items I already placed in my cart (see pic 3)
-Best of all, I can go back into my lists the next time I go grocery shopping to see what items I purchased the previous week that I would need again. For example, coconut milk, tissues, sliced bread, etc. All I have to do is press and hold the name of the item on my list. It not only becomes uncrossed, but it moves to the top of the list. Awesome!
Let me know if these apps help you as well! Be better and be healthy!
